Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 May 2026
1. Introduction & Acceptance
1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of all websites, applications, and services that are part of the Jullow ecosystem ("Services"), including any current or future product operated under the Jullow brand.
1.2 By creating a Jullow ID, accessing My Jullow, or using any Jullow Service, the user confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1.3 These Terms work together with the Jullow Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Each Jullow app may provide additional Terms, Privacy Policies, or Community Guidelines that apply specifically to that service. These documents supplement — and do not replace — the Jullow policies. In the event of any conflict, the Jullow policies always take precedence.
1.4 If these Terms are not agreed to, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Users must be at least 16 years old to create a Jullow ID or use the Services. At signup a date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) is required. This is a self-reported check — if the date of birth provided indicates the user is under 16, the account will not be created. Accounts discovered to belong to persons under 16 will be deleted.
2.2 By using the Services, the user confirms they have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in their jurisdiction. If below the legal age of capacity in their country, do not use the Services.
2.3 These Terms and all rights described within them apply to all Jullow users globally, regardless of location. Jullow applies these standards universally because fair and transparent treatment is considered a right, not a regional privilege.
3. Jullow ID & My Jullow
3.1 What is Jullow ID?
A Jullow ID is a single identity across the entire Jullow ecosystem. It is created and managed through My Jullow — the central Jullow account app, available as a standalone application and at account.jullow.com. One Jullow ID connects users to all Jullow apps and services. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and for all activity that occurs under their account.
3.2 Creating a Jullow ID
At signup the following must be provided:
- A display name — the publicly visible name. This does not need to be a legal name.
- A unique username — the identifier across the ecosystem, visible to other users. Usernames are globally unique and can be changed once every 30 days.
- An email address — globally unique, one email per account.
- A phone number with country code — globally unique, one phone number per account.
- A password — stored securely using hashing. Jullow never sees or stores plain-text passwords.
- Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) — to verify the minimum age requirement is met.
- Country — for account setup and security purposes.
3.3 Account recovery
If account access is lost, Jullow provides an account recovery process via the registered email address. All active sessions will be terminated instantly across all connected apps during recovery for account security.
3.4 My Jullow — managing a Jullow ID
My Jullow is the central hub where users manage their entire Jullow presence, accessible as a standalone app and at account.jullow.com. Through My Jullow, users can manage active sessions across all connected apps and sign out of any individual session remotely. My Jullow also provides an emergency sign-off option to instantly sign out of all connected apps simultaneously. Users can connect and disconnect apps, export personal data, and delete their Jullow ID — all from one place.
3.5 Connecting and disconnecting apps
Users choose which Jullow apps to connect to their Jullow ID — this is entirely their choice. When an app is disconnected, that app's data linked to the account will be permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. If reconnected within 30 days, all data is fully restored. Once the 30-day grace period has passed, that app's data is permanently and irreversibly deleted and cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
3.6 Account deletion
A Jullow ID can be deleted at any time through My Jullow. Upon requesting deletion, Jullow will send a confirmation to the registered email address including the exact date the 30-day recovery window expires. During the 30-day recovery window the account is inaccessible but fully restorable. After the 30-day recovery window has passed, account restoration is permanently impossible. Jullow cannot recover accounts or data after this point under any circumstances. The username will be reserved during the recovery window and released for others after 30 days. For full details on data deletion see the Privacy Policy.
4. Aija Avatar
4.1 Profile photos are not used anywhere in the Jullow ecosystem. User identity is represented exclusively through Aija — Jullow's avatar system. Some Jullow apps may allow users to upload images or other media as part of posts, comments, or shared content. This is separate from identity representation and does not replace the Aija avatar system.
4.2 Aija avatars are created and edited exclusively through My Jullow and are visible across all connected Jullow apps. An avatar represents personal customisation choices within the Aija system. The underlying Aija system, all avatar components, and the Aija name remain the intellectual property of Jullow.
4.3 Avatars must not be used to impersonate other users or public figures. Jullow may remove avatars that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Users agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any applicable laws or the rights of others
- harass, bully, abuse, threaten, stalk, or defame other users
- impersonate another person or misrepresent identity
- send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in abusive bulk messaging
- attempt to breach security, hack, reverse engineer, or bypass any protection
- upload or distribute viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- create or share content that is unlawful, abusive, obscene, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms
- create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban
- use the Services in any way that could damage, overload, or impair the platform
5.2 Display names, usernames, and avatars must not be used to impersonate other users or public figures.
5.3 Users may block other users at any time through My Jullow. Blocking may apply across connected Jullow services where supported.
6. User Content
6.1 "User Content" means any text, images, comments, posts, avatar designs, or other content created or submitted within the Services. Users retain full ownership of the copyright in User Content they create.
6.2 By posting User Content, the user grants Jullow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and operate that content within the Services solely for the purpose of providing the Services. This license ends when the content or account is deleted, subject to the 30-day recovery window and any legal retention obligations.
6.3 Users are solely responsible for their User Content. Personal data of others must not be shared without consent. Content that infringes the rights of others must not be posted.
6.4 When an account is deleted, personal data, private messages, and private content will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Public content such as comments and posts will be handled in accordance with the specific app's own terms.
7. Messaging, Comments & Privacy
7.1 Where Jullow apps include commenting or posting features, content may be public or private depending on the user's choice and the app's design. Public content is visible to all users of that app. Private content is accessible only to the user who created it unless they choose to share it.
7.2 Where Jullow apps include private messaging, those features are built around end-to-end encryption principles so that message content remains inaccessible to Jullow. For full details see the Privacy Policy.
7.3 Jullow may use limited metadata such as timestamps and account identifiers to investigate reports of abuse but does not intentionally access private message content as part of this process.
8. Reporting & Moderation
8.1 Users can report other users, comments, posts, avatars, or display names for abuse, spam, impersonation, or violations of these Terms.
8.2 Jullow and its moderators reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms at their discretion, regardless of whether a report has been submitted by another user.
8.3 Jullow operates a three-step enforcement system:
- Step 1 — Formal warning: sent to the registered email address and recorded on the account.
- Step 2 — Restriction: limited access to some or all Services, duration based on severity of the violation.
- Step 3 — Permanent ban: applied only as a last resort for serious or repeated violations.
8.4 On permanent ban, the email address, phone number, username, and device identifier associated with the account are blacklisted. Banned users may not create a new Jullow ID.
8.5 One right of appeal exists within 30 days of a permanent ban, submitted via the contact details in Section 19. Appeals are reviewed once. The decision following review is final and cannot be challenged further.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All intellectual property within the Jullow ecosystem — including but not limited to software, code, UI designs, logos, brand names, APIs, systems, and products such as Aija and My Jullow — is owned by Jullow and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.
9.2 User Content as described in Section 6 is excluded from the above — users retain full ownership of content they create.
9.3 If copyrighted work has been posted in a way that infringes rights, please contact Jullow using the details in Section 19.
9.4 Where any Jullow app offers virtual items, in-app currency, or unlocks, these are provided as a limited non-exclusive revocable license for personal use only. They have no monetary value outside the Services and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged. Upon account deletion or termination, any unused virtual items or currency are permanently forfeited with no right to compensation.
10. Third-Party Content & Links
10.1 The Services may include links or embedded content from third parties. Jullow is not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or services. Third-party content is used at the user's own risk.
10.2 If third-party content violates these Terms, it can be reported using in-app tools or by contacting Jullow using the details in Section 19.
11. Payments & Subscriptions
11.1 Jullow does not currently process payments or offer paid subscriptions. Payment features will be introduced once Jullow's legal structure is formalised. Full terms governing payments will be disclosed clearly and users will be notified before any paid features become available. Continued use after such notification constitutes acceptance of those additional terms.
11.2 All payment and subscription management will be handled through My Jullow once payment features are available.
12. Service Availability
12.1 Jullow strives to keep the Services available but does not guarantee uptime. The Services are provided as-is. Planned maintenance will be communicated through My Jullow or via the email address associated with the account where practicable. Unexpected outages may occur.
13. Suspension & Termination
13.1 Jullow may suspend or terminate access to the Services or specific accounts for violation of these Terms, abuse, fraud, or legal reasons. Suspension may be temporary. Permanent termination is subject to the enforcement process described in Section 8.
13.2 Accounts may be deleted at any time through My Jullow as described in Section 3.6. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
13.3 Jullow reserves the right to permanently discontinue any specific app or the entire Services at any time. In such an event, at least 30 days notice will be provided via the registered email address or through My Jullow to allow users to export their data before the service is taken offline.
14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
14.1 The Services are provided as-is and as-available. Jullow makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services' fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or security.
14.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jullow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or use arising out of or in connection with the Services.
14.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law. Users retain all rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
14.4 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Jullow for any claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount paid to use the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim or €100 EUR.
15. Indemnification
15.1 Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jullow from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising out of their breach of these Terms, their User Content, or their misuse of the Services. This indemnification does not apply to claims arising from Jullow's own negligence or wilful misconduct.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) and applicable EU law.
16.2 Users and Jullow submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece for any disputes arising under these Terms.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on the mandatory consumer protection laws of their own country of residence or from bringing a claim in the courts of their country of residence.
17. Changes to These Terms
17.1 Jullow may update these Terms as the Services evolve. The revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date on this page. Where appropriate, users will be notified through My Jullow or via the email address associated with their account. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Miscellaneous
18.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
18.2 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the user and Jullow regarding the Services.
18.3 Jullow's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms at any time does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
